Why is Medium Rolling Over My Balance Which is Over $10?

Did you receive an email telling you that your balance is rolling over even though it’s more than the $10 payout threshold?

Me too!

I earned way more than the $10 payout threshold and yet an email is received saying it’s rolling over.

I am guessing this is an automated email to everyone.

Maybe another glitch, or maybe, yet again, Medium staff not being attentive to what they are doing and sending out information before it has been proof-read or checked.

I often think of Medium as a well controlled site, for the most part, but there have been too many instances recently that make me wonder if they are relying on AI more and more to automate updates, emails ect.

Either that or someone isn’t very good at their job!
